FCIA coordinated another successful apprentice charity workshop in NSW in collaboration with our industry partners and the FCIA Training Academy.
This workshop was for a SAHSSI regional charity that supports women and children fleeing from domestic violence or homelessness.
Under the expert project management of our workshop supervisor, Andy Deaville, 10 enthusiastic apprentices replaced the floors in the lounge, kitchen, laundry, toilet, bathroom, landing and bedrooms with carpet, sheet vinyl and LVT planks. The apprentices applied amazing skills in grinding, laying hard underlay, applying flood coats and installing the floorcoverings.
FCIA and our members celebrate the return of our unique Apprentice Charity Workshops and we sincerely thank SAHSSI for giving the apprentices the opportunity to upgrade their floors and contribute to such a deserving charity..
