11 flooring apprentices from NSW participated in floor grinding and preparation and installed carpet tiles, vinyl planks and commercial vinyl in the Caretaker's Lodge and Prince of Wales Hospital . This allowed each apprentice to collect critical evidence to progress their apprenticeship in the Certificate III in Flooring Technology.
The job was split over two venues with the apprentices rotating between both. All apprentices worked hard and learnt new skills from very knowledgeable flooring experts which will benefit them in their future careers.
These amazing young men removed tired, existing floorcoverings and gave the Ronald McDonald House Randwick a fresh, welcoming new floor.
They should all be very proud of what was achieved as highlighted in the video below.
