WA employers commencing flooring apprentices from 1/7/19 will be eligible for $8,500 in State Government subsidy in addition to existing Commonwealth incentives.
Employers may also receive a 10% loading as the Certificate III in Flooring technology is a skills shortage trade. SME Employers taking on apprentices will also retain their exemption from Payroll tax. Payments will be made in 3 stages: at the six month point, mid-term and upon completion.
