Skilled visas for installers - industry webinar

This webinar will provide an overview of FCIA's national skilled visa program to address the critical skills shortages confronting the flooring industry.
Facilitated by FCIA, guest presenters include:
- Mr Chris Montgomery - As the Business, Industry and Regional outreach officer for the Global Australia and Immigration Programs Outreach and Engagement Branch of the Immigration Programs division, Chris will identify appropriate visa options for flooring installers and outline the eligibility and application requirements to obtain a Visa
- Mr Mark Welch - Director, Cargil Migration. - Mark's Company is a Registered Migration Agent (#0532994), with experience in assisting flooring installers to obtain an Australian Skilled Visa. Mark will explain the role of immigration agents , administration processes, expectations on sponsor employers and indicative costs.
- Mr Garry Thomas - Company Secretary FCIA and FCIA Training Academy. Garry will facilitate the webinar and outline the support that FCIA will provide the industry in lobbying government and assisting employers in sponsoring and sourcing in sourcing skilled workers from South East Asia, Europe and the UK .
There will be ample time for Q&A, after which FCIA will outline pilot projects to establish a national Skilled Visa program for the industry
